At HalfMoon Labs, our journey into wellness began not as a business idea — but as a deeply personal mission ❤️

When our son was diagnosed with sickle cell (SS) at just two years old, our lives changed overnight. What followed were years of hospital visits 🏥, emergency care, long nights 🌙, and uncertainty — moments no parent is ever prepared to face.

We watched him endure repeated hospitalizations, numerous blood transfusions, and invasive medical interventions. We were told to prepare for the worst more than once. Through it all, we searched for ways to support his overall wellness outside of emergency medicine — not as a replacement, but as an additional layer of care and awareness in his daily life.

This experience is what gave birth to HalfMoon Labs ✨
